Where is the venue?

Benham's Grove // 166 N Main St, Centerville, OH 45459

Both the ceremony & reception will take place here.

When does the wedding start?

The wedding will start promptly at 4PM, followed by a cocktail hour and dinner reception around 5PM. Please try and arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to have ample time to find parking & seating.

Will it take place outdoors or indoors?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside (the first 90 minutes of the event) and then it'll move inside for the reception.

Will there be parking available?

Yes, but we highly recommend carpooling or using a rideshare app if you plan on drinking. Guests are permitted to leave their vehicles in the parking lot overnight if needed.

Will there be an afterparty?

Yes, at Old Scratch Pizza in Centerville // 440 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Centerville, OH 45458. It's less than a five minute drive from the venue. Doors will open immediately after the reception ends at 10:30pm. Drinks and pizza are on us.

Why Benham's Grove?

Benham's Grove is having a grand opening for their new event building and we're fortunate enough to be the very first wedding held in this new event center. The location is also central to where Molly and Adnan grew up. The aesthetic and sustainable design philosophy of the new build was also a factor in choosing this venue. â€‹

Have you blocked off rooms at a hotel?

No, but there are plenty of hotels across Dayton. If you want to stay in the city we recommend Hotel Ardent or AC Hotel Dayton. If you want a hotel closer to the venue, Staybridge Suites Miamisburg is a good choice near several amenities.

What is the dress code?

Typical wedding attire: suits & dresses. There will be a large number of guests who will be dressed in traditional Bengali garb, however, we don't expect anyone to dress in any particular way. Wear whatever you feel the most comfortable in.

What is there to do in Dayton

Don't let anyone tell you there's nothing to do in Dayton! Dayton is a small town with a lot of heart. We'd highly recommend checking out the Oregon District (there's a record store that we frequent called Omega Music & a plant shop called Luna). Strolling Oregon District is great for singles and young couples but for families we recommend Carillon Historical Park. Carillon does a great job of accurately depicting Dayton's history via one to one recreations of Dayton homes & schools as they were in the late 19th century. Aside from Oregon District & Carillon, we'd also recommend going on a short hike at Hills & Dales park. Specifically, Dogwood Pond and the Witch's Tower are our two favorites. For shopping, we'd recommend strolling The Greene Town Center. If you're feeling a little more adventurous, we love Urban Krag for rock climbing and bouldering but it isn't for the faint of heart. If all else fails check out Dayton Art Institute. We've never had a bad time there.

This one's weird but it's our favorite: every Saturday morning in the summer, Woodland Cemetery & Arboretum has a free historical walking tour. All you have to do is look up the event time on their website and show up. It's led by a local historian and functions solely based off of donations. It's one of our favorite hidden gems in Dayton. You'll get to see the graves of the Wrights', Paul Lawrence Dunbar, and perhaps our favorite view of Dayton: the Lookout Gazebo. Highly recommend if you find the time the morning of the wedding.

Any Dayton food recommendations?

  • Old Scratch Pizza // always a safe bet if you're looking for great pizza. Our favorites are  the 'Angry Beekeeper' (if you can have pork) or the 'Elliot' is a classic too. Fun fact: they serve free ice cream. This is our afterparty location so you'll have an opportunity to try it the night of the wedding.

  • Grist // Upscale Italian dining. We really love Grist since they have fresh pasta making classes and they use the pasta made during the classes to serve for dinner. We've never actually taken the class but we've enjoyed the fruits of the their labor plenty of times. You'll definitely want reservations for this one though.

  • Pine Club // This one's great for an older crowd. No reservations. Cash only. Great steak & American food. Speakeasy vibes.

  • Sueño // A Mexican tapas bar. This is great upscale Mexican food. It's pricey but worth it in our opinion. Go downstairs for a hidden bar spot called Tender Mercy.

  • Gulzar's // Gulzar's is our favorite Indian food in Dayton and probably all of Ohio. It will be served at the wedding so you won't be missing out if you decide to skip this one but we wanted to mention it.

  • All the Best Deli // Our favorite deli place if you want something simple.

  • Graeter's Ice Cream // This one's a no brainer. If you're from out of town you have to get the renowned Black Raspberry Chip. It's probably our favorite ice cream flavor.

  • Bill's Donuts // Bill's is world famous. It's open 24 hours and located right next to our venue. Bill's will be served during our cocktail hour.

  • Dorothy Lane Market in Oakwood // Yes this is technically a grocery store. We don't care. Buy a sandwich. Buy a baked good. Eat it in the mezzanine upstairs. Get groceries on your way out. It's a great time.

  • Eudora // A cool bar that we recommend.

  • Honorable Mentions: Singha Thai, Hoshi Ramen, and Pasha Grill (Pasha & Gulzar's are great halal choices).
